TRENDS
We spend years teaching children mathematics, science and history, but rarely talk to them about money in ways that prepare them for the real world. Young minds learn about empires and battles, but not about inflation quietly eroding purchasing power, or how excessive borrowing today can constrain choices tomorrow. Concepts such as turning savings into investments, compounding of returns, patience and long-term financial planning often remain outside the classrooms.
INNOVATION
Learning centers are a dynamic technique that lend themselves to the practice of both skills and concepts. They depart from usual classroom sessions by giving students choice, flexibility and the time to learn in smaller groups.
After teachers teach concepts as they usually do, learning centers would be a good activity to consider for a block period towards the end of the lesson.
LEADERSHIP
The Educators Conclave 2025, hosted by Teacher360, in association with TeacherTribe.world and EDXSO at Bengaluru, brought together over 300 educators from across India, UAE, Finland and Singapore for a powerful exchange of ideas on wellness in schools. The conclave became a vibrant space for reflection, collaboration and vision-building, focussed on how educational communities can cultivate wellness, empower teachers and transform learning environments for the future.
CURIOSITY
LEARNING
Artificial Intelligence is opening new possibilities for teaching and learning. When used thoughtfully, it becomes a powerful support system for teachers, helping them focus on what matters most – the student understanding. AI can reduce routine workload, bring greater clarity to instruction and enable teachers to respond to learner needs with precision. The guiding principle is simple: AI supports teaching decisions, while teachers remain responsible for learning outcomes. The examples that follow show practical, classroom-ready ways teachers can use AI to strengthen instruction and deepen student learning.
