The TeacherTribe.world is a thought seed of our beloved former President, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. It was on his advice, that Greycaps launched this portal on India’s Teacher’s Day in 2013.

TeacherTribe.world​ is a social initiative that strives to bring educators together to share thoughts, knowledge and to celebrate the teacher. It is India's first comprehensive online initiative for teachers and a part of the Knowledge Tribe. Our aspiration is to foster a thriving teaching community and build a teachers' ‘Tribe’. TeacherTribe.world was initially created as TheTeacher.in. After an overwhelming, enthusiastic patronage from our audience, we have graduated to TeacherTribe.world. With this goal, we have created several ways for educators to engage with us and with one another, consisting of various social media platforms, a website and a dedicated mobile app.

 

The initiative is dedicated to serve as a platform for teachers to share their knowledge, experiences, and best practices. The cornerstone of TeacherTribe.world is to build an active forum for learning and sharing, which will create a vast knowledge pool to aid teachers to leave a greater impact on the children they teach.

 

TeacherTribe.world will interact with schools and educational institutions through its many initiatives with the core aim of celebrating the teacher.
